Welcome to Chocowinity Middle School, Home of the Indians! 

I am thrilled to begin my 18th year in education serving the students, families and community of Chocowinity. I taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade and have served as an administrator at John Small School and P.S. Jones Middle School in Washington, NC. I am a two-time ECU graduate and recently completed the doctorate program at ECU. 

As a unique 5th-8th grade school, Chocowinity Middle School will provide a positive learning environment to inspire academic excellence and challenge all students to develop their talents as life-long learners and responsible citizens. We will collaborate with our community of teachers, students and families to prepare students by developing positive mindsets for academic and personal growth through the use of engaging, enriching instruction that inspires students to meet the challenges of the future.
