My name is Sue Anne Blank.  I teach 5^th grade English Language Arts.  I have experience in grades K-5 in both Pitt and Beaufort counties.  I love helping students explore their interests through reading and writing.  Reading is one of my favorite hobbies.  I like reading all kinds of books, but historical fiction is my favorite genre.  

I grew up in Ayden and graduated from ECU–GO PIRATES!  I received a BS in Elementary Education and MAEd in Reading Education while attending ECU.  I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.  

I am looking forward to an amazing year learning together!
