Andrea is a native of New Jersey but has called North Carolina home for the past 30 years. She began her educational career in 2012 in Pitt County, North Carolina, where she taught a variety of grades in elementary school before becoming a Multi-Classroom Teacher, a role which was designed to support beginning and novice teachers in the county. She has a passion for education and strong commitment to the community.

Andrea serves on the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the Superintendent, Dr. Matthew Cheeseman. Her duties include keeping the BCS social media accounts and website current, working with all media outlets, updating our community ad space, and working inside the 13 schools creating photos and videos for events. Her podcast “After the Bell with Andrea” highlights our outstanding administrative teams, our staff and students as well as our community stakeholders. In addition, Andrea is also the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and Clerk to the Beaufort County Board of Education.
